AW 2007 Comme des Garçons Homme Plus Grunge Knit Vest

In an ode to the ethnic London styles that inspire her, Rei Kawakubo referenced Teddy Boy, Edwardian, and Punk ways of dress for her Fall 2007 Men’s Comme des Garçons collection. This particular vest flew down the runway as Sid Vicious hollered “My Way”. Its shrunken proportions, which accentuate the distressing and holes when worn, vibrant prints, and cut-off drop shoulder could have surely been seen on any of the Sex Pistols.
